1. Intellectual Property & Ownership

• Intellectual Property: All 3D models (.d5a), images, videos, and related assets on D5lib are the property of D5lib.
• Ownership Limitation: Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.
• Granted Rights: Buyers are only granted the right to use (License) according to the selected license type.
• Partner Assets: Animal models containing animations (.abc/Alembic) are originally owned by Animated3D.
• D5lib’s Role: D5lib acts as an authorized distribution partner for Animated3D assets.

2. Types of Usage Licenses

2.1. Personal License

• Scope: For use by only one individual.
• Devices: Installation and use on personal devices owned by the purchaser.
• Purpose: For personal projects or commercial projects independently carried out by that individual.
• Prohibited: Account sharing and file transfer to others are strictly prohibited.

2.2. Studio License (Under 20 People)

• Scope: For companies, businesses, or studios with fewer than 20 staff members.
• Internal Sharing: Allows all studio staff to access and use the assets for shared projects.
• Purpose: For commercial projects of the studio or the studio’s clients.

2.3. Enterprise License (Over 20 People)

• Scope: For organizations, studios, or enterprises with 20 or more staff members.
• Pricing Mechanism: No fixed pricing applies on the website.
• Purchase Process: Customers must contact D5lib directly to receive a customized quotation suitable for their scale.

2.4. Educational License

• Scope: Exclusively for students, teachers, and educational institutions.
• Pricing Policy: Eligible for a 50% discount compared to the Personal License.
• Activation Process: Users must contact D5lib and provide valid proof (student ID, school email, etc.) to receive the discount.
• Purpose: For learning, teaching, and non-commercial research only.
• Prohibited: Assets must not be used in any revenue-generating projects.

3. Product Update Policy

• Ownership Benefits: Accounts purchasing products under a Lifetime plan may store and use purchased assets indefinitely.
• Update Period: Buyers receive free updates for one year (12 months) from the purchase date if new updated assets are released for the product.
• After 1 Year: Users may continue using previously downloaded assets normally.

4. General Prohibited Actions

• No Resale: Copying, distributing, reselling, or renting original files (.d5a, .abc, etc.) is prohibited.
• No Public Sharing: Uploading assets to public repositories or illegally sharing them is prohibited.
